Aisha Jamila hinds is a well-known American actress. She is known for the roles she played in the TV show The Shield, and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003 she has proven her acting versatility by performing outstandingly in TV series like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. The first time she was noticed was for her character Anna in the 2005 movie Assault on Precinct 13. The film was primarily for her portrayal of the feminist Fannie Louis Hamer, in the biography film All the Way, which brought her the recognition she earned as an actress. Hind was also praised for her performance as Harriet Tubman's in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the show will be renewed for another season. In the last few days, Hind finished filming on the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is set for a release in the mid-year of 2019.
