Marcia Harvey

Marcia Harvey is an African American author. She is well-known for her ex-wife of comedian Steve Harvey. Marcia Harvey leads a quiet life, preferring to stay out of the spotlight of the media. Steve has not been able to attain the fame and fortune he's currently enjoying, however they had been married for 14 years. It's not clear what led to the split, however Hollywood has heard of rumors about it. Some claim that Steve Harvey is cheating while some blame him for choosing comedy as his field of work. Steve Harvey dispersed her from his two daughters while she was expecting their third child, causing her to be devastated. Despite all of the challenges, she has made a name for herself in fashion and writing. Her books include "Marcia Eyes To The Soul", "Marcia" and "Marcia Poems From The Heart". Her generosity has been an inspiration for her children. Little is known about Marcia Harvey's early life except the fact that she was born in an African-American household and that they weren't very wealthy. Her first job was working at Saks Fifth Avenue, a department store. Steve came across her at a reception for a friend of a mutual acquaintance a couple of years later. They were in love, and they were married in the year 1980. Steve was employed as an insurance salesman at the moment and the couple was blessed with twin girls in 1982. But, by the time they were born, Steve had already begun to lose interest in his job and wanted to make his own entertainment business particularly stand-up comedy. Steve and Marcia could not get with each other and it was later reported that they'd been living apart since the year 1990. Marcia Harvey's fame stemmed in large part due to her marriage Steve Harvey, and their divorce. While the circumstances that led to their divorce in 1994 have been kept a secret There is no doubt that Marcia was pregnant with their third child when everything went downhill. Marcia was divorced in 1993. Marcia was forced by Steve Harvey's refusal to pay an alimony payment or child support following her divorce.
