Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18 the 18th of November, 1985, at Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordinand within Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix showed a flair in athletics from the beginning, and soon discovered her talent for sprinting while she was at the Los Angeles Baptist High School. She came second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships within just 10 weeks, after her very first tryout. Felix finished her high school education and was signed to an official contract with Adidas. In 2004, she enrolled in an institution called the University of Southern California, in the area of elementary education. Her first Olympic medal came during the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place at Athens Greece. Felix set a world junior record for running 200m in 22.18 seconds. The youngest participant in the 200 meter at the World Championships that took place in Helsinki in the year 2005. She defended her title once again in 2007, by beating the long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix had a steady performance in Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo. She always finished within the top three places of the events.
