Lil Yacthy

Lil Yacthy is an artist who is a rapper, singer, and artist. He is best known for his single "One Night". His actual name is Miles Parks McCollum and he is often referred to as King Boat, Lil Boat and Nautica Boat Boy. The two mixtapes he released, "Summer Songs 2" and "Lil Boat" have helped him become known as a household name. It wasn't his first try at singing. The first songs he recorded, 'One Night' (August 2015) and 'Minnesota (August 2015) were what gained him the first recognition. These songs were part of his debut EP, Extended Play, called "Summer Songs. His current label roster includes  Capital Records as well as a  QCM and 'Motown Records. Yachty has worked alongside prominent rappers , including 'D.R.A.M. and "Chance the Rapper," among others. Yachty also sells his own items on his official website. He was inspired by his father who shared with him many styles of music. In 2015, he adopted the moniker "Yachty" and moved from Atlanta to New York, in order to be a household name in the world. In New York, he stayed with a close friend and looked for ways to enter the music arena. He also began to interact with street fashion bloggers and built an established number of followers on Instagram. He joined forces with Burberry Perry (producer and beat maker) and his primary collaborator K$upreme. They're collectively referred to as 'The Saling Team'. They collaborated in Lil' Yachty's bedroom studio. Drake's OVO Sound Radio airing of the hit track 'Minnesota' was the first time he had a major hit. The moment that made the mark for Lil Yachty was his song "1Night". The video was posted by Lil Yachty of the track on YouTube and the song quickly became all over the internet. The singer was the subject of the media's attention after the SoundCloud version of "One Night" was used in an online meme.
